About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Content Marketing Intern to support our expanding marketing team. This role is ideal for a student or early-career marketer who enjoys research, process optimization, and using data to influence content strategy. You will play a hands-on role in evaluating our existing content ecosystem and make recommendations for modern content to excite targeted personas.

This role will be hybrid from our Boston Office.

The internship will run June 8th - August 14th.

Key Responsibilities

Content, journey and persona audits

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of all marketing-created content (including the blog), documenting strengths, gaps, redundancies, and optimization opportunities.

  • Review how content is requested, created, approved, and published to identify process bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

  • Evaluate existing personas for accuracy and relevance; interview internal teams to refine or develop new personas with clear attributes, needs, and content preferences.

  • Audit current customer journeys for each persona, identifying messaging and content gaps; map new or updated journeys with recommended content for each stage (Discover, Evaluate, Commit).

Content and editorial responsibilities

  • Become familiar with the Identity Security Market, Delinea products, messaging, differentiators, and value drivers to ensure content accuracy and consistency.

  • Support editorial processes by reviewing new content for clarity, grammar, messaging accuracy, and persona alignment.

  • Assist in content creation, including contributing to asset outlines, editing drafts and working with design on impactful charts, graphs or images.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with spreadsheets and dashboards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Curiosity about audience behavior, storytelling, and content marketing strategy.

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar) is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
