As a Content Marketer, you'll craft diverse content types to elevate brand presence and drive sales, working closely with technical teams and sales to align messaging.
The summary above was generated by AI

This is not a "write some blogs and manage the content calendar" role. This is a chance to build the content engine for a company at an inflection point—where every piece of content you create has a direct line to how fast we grow.

7AI just closed the largest Series A in cybersecurity history—$130 million. We're building AI agents that handle the tedious, repetitive work in security operations so analysts can focus on what actually matters. The market is crowded. The story we tell—and how we tell it—will determine whether we break through or blend in.

We're looking for someone who is equal parts creative and relentless. You have ideas—big ones—and you don't wait for permission to chase them. You can write, but you're not just a writer. You think in formats: video, audio, interactive, whatever gets the idea across. If it's a good idea, we'll find a way to make it happen.

What You'll Build

Brand Content: We believe AI should handle the toil so humans can do meaningful work. You'll own how we bring that vision to life—through our social presence, our podcast (DO HUMAN WORK), and content that makes people stop and pay attention. This is brand building at the earliest stage, where your fingerprints will be on everything.

Sales Enablement Content: Decks, one-pagers, tools that help deals close. You'll be in the room with sales, hearing what's working and what's not, and turning those insights into content that moves pipeline. This isn't support work—it's directly tied to revenue.

Demand Generation Content: Campaigns are only as good as the content that drives them. You'll create the assets that make people understand our value—and actually want to talk to us.

Whatever's Next: Got an idea for a new series? A creative campaign no one's tried? A way to explain complex AI security concepts that actually resonates? Pitch it. If it's good, we'll do it. The only limit is your imagination and your ability to execute.

How You'll Work

You won't be locked in a room making content by yourself. You'll be embedded with the team—on customer calls hearing how they talk about their problems, working with our AI Security Engineers to understand the technical depth, in the room with the exec team shaping messaging. The best content comes from proximity to the action, and you'll have that.

You'll have support and resources to make things happen. But this is a role for someone who loves doing the work, not delegating it. You're building the plane while flying it—and that's exactly the way you like it.

What We're Looking For
  • You're technical enough to understand AI and security, but you know how to translate complexity into content that's bold, clear, and differentiated—not just jargon dressed up as thought leadership.

  • You're a great writer, but content isn't just text to you. You think across formats—video, podcast, interactive, whatever serves the idea best.

  • You're organized and you ship. You can juggle multiple projects, hit deadlines, and execute at a pace that matches how fast we're moving.

  • You're endlessly curious. You ask questions. You dig into how things work because that's where the interesting stories are.

  • "That's not my job" isn't in your vocabulary. We're a small team, and everyone jumps in where they're needed.

Requirements
  • Based in the Boston area and willing to come into our office 4 days per week. We're moving incredibly fast, and being in-person is critical at this stage.

  • Experience creating content in cybersecurity—you understand the audience and the landscape.

  • A portfolio that shows range: not just blog posts, but campaigns, video, decks, multimedia—proof that you think bigger than a blank doc.

About 7AI

7AI is building the future of security operations. Our AI agents handle the toil so security teams can focus on the work that actually requires human judgment. In 302 days, we went from stealth to closing the largest cybersecurity Series A in history—$130 million led by Index Ventures.

We're not making incremental improvements. We're transforming how security operations work. If you want to build a brand that matters, at a company moving faster than anyone else, this is it.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
