Remote 6-month content creator internship. You will pitch, script, record, edit, post, and analyze original social video and short-form content across YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Instagram. Run experiments, iterate on retention and hooks, and work directly with the founder and video team. India-based candidates only.
This is a remote position.
We're hiring a content creator. Not a marketer who makes videos.
Tars is an AI agent platform for customer experience. We're 8 years old. Netflix, American Express, Vodafone, and Qatar Foundation are customers. We're rewriting the whole product for our 3.0 launch on June 30, 2026.
We have four people on our marketing team. Two of them are marketers who turned into video makers. Two of them are editors. None of them are creators by origin - they didn't grow up posting on YouTube, building an audience on Instagram, or refreshing LinkedIn engagement.
We want that brain in the room.
What you'll actually do:
- Pitch ideas. Nobody is going to hand you a content calendar. You'll decide what's worth making, defend it, and ship it.
- Make the content. Script, record, edit (with help from our editors), post, and look at the numbers.
- Run experiments across YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. You'll pick where your idea lives.
- Iterate. We watch retention, hook performance, comment quality. You'll watch them with us and adjust.
- Work alongside the founder and the existing video team - they'll plug you into the operating system and get out of your way.
What you won't get from us:
- A template. A series brief. A "here are 12 video formats - pick one." If you want that, this isn't the role.
- A team to hide behind. The work has your name on it.
Requirements
Who you are:
- You already make content. On any platform. With any audience size. What matters is the pattern - you've been posting, iterating, watching what works.
- You have strong opinions about what good content looks like. You can articulate why a hook works in three seconds and why most B2B content doesn't.
- You're comfortable on camera, behind it, or both. We don't care which.
- You're curious about AI, software, and how businesses actually use technology. You don't need to know this category yet - but you need to want to learn it.
- You're in India, available for 6 months, comfortable working mostly async with a few syncs a week.
How to apply: Don't send a cover letter. Don't send a resume PDF. When you apply, we'll send you a short assignment. Five days, one piece of content. Open brief. We only talk to people who complete the assignment.
Benefits
- INR 20,000-30,000/month stipend, depending on experience and portfolio
- 6-month internship, with the possibility of converting full-time. The first week is a paid trial week before the formal internship begins.
- Full remote, India-based
- You keep ownership of your personal channels and content
