The roleWe’re hiring a Content & Community Lead to own Rumi’s voice end-to-end. You’ll write and publish content across channels, shape messaging, and consistently promote Rumi through thoughtful, educator-forward storytelling. This is a hands-on role for someone who can write exceptionally well and ship content that travels.
What you’ll doOwn Rumi’s content strategy and editorial calendar across web, email, and social
Write high-quality content: thought leadership, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, landing page copy
Create and publish social content (e.g., threads, short posts, visuals briefs) across key outlets
Turn product updates, educator stories, and research into clear, compelling narratives
Build lightweight distribution systems: repurposing, cross-posting, partnerships, and community engagement
Track performance and iterate (what resonates, what converts, what drives qualified inbound)
Collaborate with sales and founders to support launches, events, and outbound campaigns
Strong writing portfolio across marketing content and social (please include links)
Demonstrated ability to grow a channel or audience (not necessarily huge—just repeatable + intentional)
Ability to translate complex AI/education concepts into clear, human language
High ownership: you can run content without heavy process or constant direction
Strong editorial judgment and taste (you know what to publish—and what not to)
Experience writing for education, edtech, or developer/technical products
Comfort interviewing educators and turning conversations into publishable stories
Basic design/production fluency (e.g., Canva/Figma direction, simple video scripts, podcast/webinar support)
Newsletter experience and/or SEO fundamentals
