This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategically-oriented analytics leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and can move seamlessly between analytical formulation, stakeholder alignment, and strategic recommendations. You will help drive program management for high priority analytics initiatives and support segment leads in focusing on strategic priorities.

As the Consumer Segments Strategic Analytics Partner in Consumer Banking, you will serve as a senior analyst responsible for shaping the team’s approach to leveraging data driven insights across Consumer Segments Finance.  You will partner closely with segment leads and senior leadership to drive cross-segment advanced financial analyses, enabling faster, smarter decision making and supporting segment growth, profitability, and OneChase customer deepening.

You will report directly to the Executive Director of Consumer Segments Finance, and collaborate with peers in Consumer Banking Strategy, Consumer and Community Banking Data and Analytics, and Consumer Banking Financial Products to integrate deep financial analytics into broader enterprise priorities. The role requires exceptional analytical capabilities, strategic judgment, and the ability to translate complex data into clear direction and actionable recommendations.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct independent analyses of customer behavior, segment performance, and market dynamics, translating findings into clear recommendations and prioritized actions
  • Articulate the long term analytics roadmap for Consumer Segments, serving as the connective tissue across segment finance, analytics and product partners to identify analytical opportunities and recommendations
  • Partner with Consumer Segment and Deepening GMs to integrate analytics into segment strategies and decisioning
  • Lead a portfolio of analytics initiatives from concept through delivery; clarify scope, dependencies, timelines, and risk mitigations across multiple workstreams
  • Develop creative, structured approaches to complex assignments, balancing speed with rigor and cross-functional alignment with key partners
  • Monitor segment level performance and progress against strategic analytics objectives, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for course correction and efficiency improvements across OneChase Segment Deepening Strategies
  • Develop and coordinate executive-level deliverables, representing Consumer Segments in cross functional forums to ensure alignment on analytics priorities, metrics, and delivery timelines

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, management consulting, or a similar analytical role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills with SQL query writing and advanced knowledge of data tools such as Tableau, Databricks, Python/Alteryx
  • Deep understanding of profitability drivers, valuation frameworks, and discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional analytics initiatives without direct authority
  • Strong ability to translate complex data and insights into clear strategic direction and executive-ready communications
  • Highly organized and productive; able to multitask, take initiative, and meet tight deadlines
  • Thought leadership to define strategic customer analytics books of work aligned to business priorities across segments and portfolios
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and structured problem solving skills with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
  • Comfortable operating in fast paced, results-oriented environments; able to create structure and clarity where it does not yet exist
  • Constant curiosity as a self starter with a collaborative mindset; able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and SAP helpful, but not required
  • Knowledge of automation tool (e.g. VBA) helpful, but not required
