About the role:

BSI’s Consulting Services is looking for a supply chain risk management professional with 1-3 years of experience in consulting and/or corporate supply chain security or risk management program management who are highly motivated by the cultivation of long-term and mutually rewarding relationships with clients, coworkers, and partners.

The successful candidates will have experience performing supply chain security and risk management work and servicing clients. Consulting Specialist - Security and Resilience Responsibilities:

  • Schedule engagements and work with clients and their employees in a professional manner
  • Plan and manage supply chain security/risk management assessments and projects
  • Conduct supply chain security audits and gap assessments
  • Develop and improve management systems for risk management, security, and/or business continuity, to include CTPAT, AEO, TAPA, ISO 28000, and ISO 31000, among others
  • Creating and delivering training
  • Map and assess risk in client supply chains, manage software platforms to do the same
  • Work with both internal and client teams to develop programs and achieve goals.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of supply chain security, supply chain risk management, and/or business continuity experience
  • Prior experience with auditing, management system development
  • Supply chain security program development
  • Supply chain security auditing
  • Experience with CTPAT and AEO programs; knowledge of TAPA standards
  • Comfortable using software to help manage client deliverables and assessments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for client deliverables
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and client-facing roles
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Up to 40% travel

What we offer:

BSI offers a competitive salary, group-sponsored health and dental, short-term and long-term disability, a company-matched 401k plan, company paid life insurance, 11 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off.

The salary for this position can range from $80,800 to $111,100 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
