About the Intern Program:

OCC is looking for interns who are hungry for the chance to learn more, humble enough to admit they don’t know all the answers, and smart enough to recognize the opportunity. The OCC Internship Program provides students with the real-world skills to successfully transition into a career in the financial services industry. As an intern, you will help lead projects that help shape the future of OCC. This person will apply their skill set and knowledge toward tackling designated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to have a true impact on the company by designing and implementing solutions for real challenges facing the business. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Projects and Responsibilities:

  • Assume active role in monitoring of PGP document requirement adherence as well as training evidence on revised documents.

  • Review exam submissions for clarity and completeness and work with senior members of staff on submission of documents to regulators.

  • Opportunity to work with other areas in Compliance (Regulatory Compliance and Compliance Monitoring) to be exposed to more complex concepts.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Desired major(s): Business, Pre-law

  • Rising junior or senior preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • AI familiarity

What knowledge and skills will the intern gain from this internship?

  • Will gain knowledge and skills in providing evidence of regulatory compliance and making sure it is adequately maintained.

  • Will gain knowledge in supporting regulatory responses to regulators as part of the exam management process and the regulatory reporting process.

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$25.00 - $25.00

Incentive Range

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
