Working Title: Compliance Specialist II

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posting Salary Range: $56,270 - $69,898

Office Location: Remote within North Carolina.

What We’re Looking For


Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Compliance Specialist II to join our team! The Compliance Specialist II conducts compliance monitoring, audits, and investigations to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements. The role evaluates findings, determines appropriate corrective actions, and coordinates resolution activities to address non-compliance and strengthen program integrity.


On a typical day, you might:


  • Process assigned compliance cases from intake through resolution.
  • Conduct compliance audits and monitoring activities for internal stakeholders, providers, and vendors.
  • Investigate allegations of non-compliance.
  • Evaluate case findings and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Qualifications


Required:

  • High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
  • Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience with mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations or field; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina. 
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.


Preferred:

  • Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable for this employee: Public speaking, mediation and/or problem resolution, group facilitation, advocacy, regulations compliance, and project management.
  • CHC, AFHI, CFE, and fully licensed in the State of NC - LCMHC, LMFT, LCWS, LCAS, or RN.
