Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 USD + Annual discretionary bonus

Work Schedule: Standard business hours based on local time zone, Monday - Friday.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Transactions team. In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of Compliance Specialists to ensure all real estate transaction files meet regulatory requirements in the U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who will help establish a best-in-class compliance framework, partnering closely with Brokers, Transaction Managers, and Conveyancers to deliver accurate, timely compliance reviews and support an exceptional agent experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Compliance Specialists.

  • Build scalable processes and workflows for timely and accurate file reviews.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee transaction file audits for regulatory compliance across all U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

  • Develop and maintain standardized compliance checklists, procedures, and training tailored to regional requirements.

  • Stay current on evolving real estate regulatory requirements and ensure brokerage compliance.

  • Partner with Transaction Management, Brokers, Specialists, and Conveyancers to support agent success and resolve complex compliance issues.

  • Serve as the escalation point for compliance matters.

  • Ensure seamless coordination across all compliance functions.

  • Track compliance KPIs and SLAs, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

  • Leverage Agent feedback (surveys, NPS, etc) to drive operational improvements.

  • Design training programs for Compliance Specialists and contribute to agent-facing compliance education in collaboration with Brokers and Training Managers.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate brokerage compliance, audit, risk management, or related operations.

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in compliance or transaction operations.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. real estate regulatory requirements (Canadian experience a plus).

  • Active real estate license in good standing with State Associations and NAR.

  • Continuing education credits in real estate, management, and legal compliance.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and regions.

  • Process-driven mindset with experience creating standardized workflows and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Education & Experience:

  • B.A or B.S degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Demonstrated history in a management role with a track record of driving successful agent experiences.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; real estate and technology experience preferred.
