Job Description
The Compliance Coordinator assists the US Acute Care Solutions Compliance & Ethics Department (C&E) with the administration of its corporate healthcare compliance program by managing projects, maintaining databases, preparing reports for leadership and clients, and supporting department operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data, improve processes, and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance initiatives are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities also include supporting substantive C&E functions, including investigations, compliance inquiries, and internal audits.The Compliance Coordinator will have access to sensitive company information and is expected to handle this information with proper care and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of USACS's service lines, operations, and strategy to align compliance activities with business objectives.
Establish and maintain close working relationships across multiple corporate functions (IT, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Regional/Clinical Leadership).
Provide project management for strategic C&E initiatives, including quarterly reports to the USACS Executive Compliance Committee and the USACS Audit & Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors, compliance training programs, surveys, risk assessments and reporting.
Serve as the C&E point of contact for USACS clinicians, clinical and operational leadership, and USACS clients on strategic projects.
Track compliance initiatives and projects to ensure timely completion, following up on outstanding items as needed.
Create and analyze reports, charts, and graphs using Excel and other online databases to monitor compliance program activity.
Manage the Ethics Inbox and Hotline, triage incoming reports and ensure they are logged in the case management system and assigned to the appropriate team member or department for handling.
Perform exclusion screenings to identify individuals or entities restricted from participation in federal or state healthcare programs and escalate any matches in accordance with compliance policies.
Review and evaluate charitable contribution requests to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, escalating approvals as needed.
Develop and manage compliance-related content, including surveys and training materials.
Maintain publication standards for C&E policies, communications, presentations, and reports; review final written work product to ensure that C&E communications meet such standards.
Support process improvement by identifying inefficiencies in workflows, recommending solutions, and helping implement changes.
Maintain calendars, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and support scheduling for the Chief Compliance Officer and department.
Assist in travel coordination for team members and expense reporting.
Provide administrative support to ensure smooth department operations, including organizing files and maintaining efficient workflows.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with USACS employees, operational and clinical leaders, and clients to advance C&E projects and goals.
Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
Proficient with personal computers and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard business tools.
Skilled in Excel and online databases to analyze data, track trends, and create high-impact reports and presentations.
Strong problem-solving ability with the capacity to research, evaluate options, and recommend practical solutions.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to efficiently manage, digitize, and maintain both electronic and physical records, as needed.
Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, leadership, clients, and external stakeholders; clear, accurate, and grammatically correct correspondence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA Degree (4 year) preferred
Experience in healthcare compliance preferred
2-4 years of experience in healthcare support services, operations, or administrative roles required
Hourly Rate: $21.59 - $39.94
Hourly rate may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
