Role at a GlanceYou’ll design and manage Gecko’s compensation and global mobility programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, scalable, and aligned with Gecko’s values. By partnering closely with People Ops, Recruiting, Finance, and Accounting, you’ll help drive informed compensation and mobility decisions that support growth, attract and retain top talent, and deliver an exceptional employee experience for all geckos.
In this role, you’ll oversee salary structures, incentive plans, and Gecko’s equity program, while enabling fast, effective hiring through thoughtful offer development and market-informed compensation guidance. You’ll support performance and compensation cycles by providing data-driven insights, calibration guidance, manager resources, and employee education, helping ensure consistency and transparency in how we reward performance.
You’ll also lead Gecko’s global mobility program, partnering with external immigration counsel and relocation vendors to support international hires, employee relocations, and cross-border transfers. By ensuring a seamless experience for relocating employees and their families, you’ll help Gecko attract and deploy talent wherever it can have the greatest impact.
What you will doDesign, implement, and manage a comprehensive compensation program, including salary structures, sales and P&L ownership incentive plans, and equity compensation, aligned with Gecko’s organizational strategy and market trends.
Lead our global mobility program including liaising with external immigration counsel and relocation vendors, supporting employee relocations and international transfers, and providing a high-touch experience for relocating employees and their families.
Lead the offer compensation process empowering recruiting to run fast and ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness across all job families and levels
Partner closely with leadership to resolve complex compensation issues, support strategic decision-making, and drive the implementation of compensation initiatives across Gecko
Work closely with our People Partner during the performance cycle on how to navigate performance calibration sessions, analyze compensation data and create materials for managers and employee training.
Create compelling data narratives and presentations for leadership, translating analysis into clear recommendations
Lead change management and communications of compensation practices with managers and ICs. .
Build strong partnerships with the People and Recruiting Team, Finance, and Accounting.

6+ years of experience, at least 2+ years in Compensation in roles, with specific experience in Engineering, GTM, and Operations roles.
Experience with job architecture, levelling guides and market analytics to ensure competitive compensation practices.
Experience working with internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations
Passionate about educating, mentoring and teaching partners the values and business impact behind compensation strategies
Prior experience in a high growth startup building compensation programs from the ground up.
Prior experience leading compensation programs initiatives in a matrix-led organization.
