Greenlining Management is a non-profit and fundraiser support association that provides sustainable Community Support around the Boston area. We are seeking someone articulate, bright, and detail-oriented for our Community Support Specialist role! Our Community Support Specialist will train directly with our group of leaders to learn all entry-level duties and everyday responsibilities.
Our Community Support Specialists do an incredible job at providing direct support to our charity partner's brand. The company's mission is to have our Community Support Specialist spread the word of our mission and make the community better. This candidate will provide immediate customer assistance such as assessments, education on the client and their community resources, and help with tracking donor confidential information. 
Community Support Specialist Duties:

  • Reach out directly to potential donors and qualify to see if they are interested in participating in donations
  • Prepare applications and forms for donors for client and customer tracking
  • Support the Community Support Specialist team by completing comprehensive reports that are thorough and accurate
  • Take the initiative and resolve escalations or objections from community members to explain our mission
  • Professionally represent the company at community events and networking gatherings
  • Ensure courteous and efficient service is provided to all customers at fundraising events
  • Support other members of your team as well as cross-functional team members by showing participation in meetings and training classes

Community Support Specialist Skills Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Business, Management, or Administration is preferred
  • Comfortable taking the initiative to enhance skills and corresponding with multiple departments and clients
  • Prior history of delivering excellent customer service is a plus
  • Working in events, fundraising, or experience as a volunteer
  • Excellent problem-solving and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to exceed expectations
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to a schedule
