About the role
We are looking for a dynamic community manager for a project focused on educating consumers about the jewellery and diamond industry.
You’ll be the voice of the industry in the comments section—responding to questions, sparking engagement, and fostering a community of diamond lovers, jewellery enthusiasts, and curious consumers. This is a dedicated content role with the primary objective of maintaining and growing engaged communities for a diamond company in USA.
This role description covers the main aspects of the Community Manager role. However, a job description is not a box that you are put in. It is a definition of your core responsibilities. In a company like ours, you are encouraged and expected to contribute to many wider issues.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and manage social media discussion threads across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit etc.)
- Engage with community in an appropriate tone—answering questions, and sparking deeper conversations.
- Identify and respond to opportunities for deeper engagement (e.g., users asking for advice, clarification, or product information).
- Flag trending topics, FAQs, or sensitive comments to the content teams.
- Track engagement metrics and community sentiment to help inform content and strategy.
- Truly understand the company and brand and proactively suggest ways to engage communities and respond to consumer queries.
- Stay up to date on diamond/jewellery trends and relevant news to ensure timely and relevant responses.
About you
- Proven experience managing social media or online communities—either in-house, at an agency, or freelance.
- Strong written communication skills with an adaptable, on-brand tone of voice.
- Interest in (or knowledge of) diamonds, fine jewellery, or luxury lifestyle content.
- Comfortable navigating social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok comments, Sprout, or similar).
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Availability to monitor platforms and respond within agreed-upon windows (some evening or weekend flexibility may be needed).
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or e-commerce brands.
- Knowledge of diamond terminology (e.g., 4Cs, lab-grown vs natural, etc.)

Why the job exists
- To work on audience acquisition, engagement and maintenance for several always-on social accounts in USA.
- To work with a social lead on maintaining always on social including posting and community management.
- To provide ongoing insight in running always-on social accounts with a laser focus on audience engagement
- To report back on social performance to inform ongoing strategy and execution.
- To advise on channel best practices and social change and innovation to keep this social account and Greenpark at the forefront of social production
- To work with influencers in the market and help to manage conversations around the category for them.
