We are seeking a social-media fluent, strategic thinking, and innovative Social Media Community Manager with a strong focus on Augmented Reality (AR) technology and the AR community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing a vibrant online community, driving engagement, and amplifying our brand presence within the AR ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to engage the AR community across various platforms (email newsletter, blog, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube).
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content that resonates with AR enthusiasts and professionals, from new to expert.
  • Monitor and respond to community interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with AR developers, influencers, and key industry stakeholders to promote brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in AR technology and social media management.
  • Organize and participate in online events, webinars, and live streams to foster community growth and engagement.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product development team based on community interactions and trends.

What You Bring

  • Experience working with AR developers or in the AR industry.
  • Familiarity with VR technology and its community.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Community Manager or similar role, with a focus on AR technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of AR technology, applications, and the AR industry landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and innovative content.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse community members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Bands

  • The expected pay range for this role is $65-$84 per hour (on a 1099) for senior level or $85-$106 per hour for lead level
  • Our company has three regional pay bands that it adheres to depending on your location, we reference them as US 1, US 2, and US 3.
  • US 3 is our base pay. Examples of cities in US 3 are Portland, Houston and Miami.
  • US 2 pay is 7.5% higher than US 3 to meet the market rates. Examples of cities in US 2 are Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle.
  • US 1 pay is 15% higher than US 3 to meet market rates. Examples of cities in US 1 are Brooklyn and San Francisco.
