Lead PR and communications strategy to enhance market presence, manage media relations, write content, and coordinate PR activities for engagements and product launches.
Sangoma is a global leader in business communications solutions, including UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP services, and AI-powered innovations. We are looking for a PR & Communications Manager for a 6-month (with potential for extension) contract to lead our public relations, corporate communications, and brand storytelling. This role will help elevate our market presence, support major announcements, and strengthen relationships with media, industry analysts, and key stakeholders.
Your Role:
- Develop and implement a public relations strategy to generate positive media coverage.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry analysts.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches, and thought leadership articles.
- Manage corporate communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Support executives with media preparation and speaking engagements.
- Oversee crisis communications when required.
- Create compelling content for blogs, articles, case studies, and award submissions.
- Coordinate PR activities around product launches, events, and trade shows.
- Track PR performance and provide regular reports on results.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.
- Experience in B2B technology, telecom, or SaaS industry is an asset.
- Proven track record of securing media coverage and running PR campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with PR tools and platforms is an asset.
