Position Overview

The Communications Manager for the Payments Operations team will be focused on creating, coordinating and streamlining messaging to clients proactively and reactively based on business needs. This individual will drive a One Zelis experience with clients, provide professional and timely messaging based on clients wants/needs and ensure internal coordination of various teams to provide consistent information.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a modern, real-time and ongoing client communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and enhances client engagement.

  • Write and edit communication materials ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.

  • Support change management initiatives, client self-service, critical incident communications, and related content planning and creation.

  • Respond or help to build responses to client questions and requests in certain situations.

  • Create internal communications and talking points to support client-facing teams with messaging and elevate the overall client experience.

  • Identify and address client needs and pain points.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and BU leadership to create campaigns around impactful initiatives and ensure alignment of messaging.

  • Partner with Learning & Development organization to identify and execute on internal and external communications to build knowledge and manage change

  • Build, manage, and execute high-visibility associate programs and communications that inform, engage, and inspire clients.

  • Monitor and analyze communications effectiveness and responses to continually improve content and applicability.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, preferably in technology or a modern, fast-paced corporate environment.

  • Strong writing, formatting, and editing skills. Ability to take complex situations and describe or explain them to non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications for communications. Proven visual design skills, including adapting content across various platforms.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong relationship building, emotional intelligence and influencing.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, and to interact with various audiences and organizations.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
