About the Role:

Panorama is looking for a Communications Manager to help shape and amplify Panorama’s corporate narrative and brand as a leader in K-12 education. In this role, you’ll work on proactive and reactive communications strategies across both owned and earned media, showcasing the transformative impact we have in school districts nationwide. You will take on a variety of projects, from PR and event speaking proposals to messaging and content creation. This role is ideal for a savvy, driven communications professional who’s passionate about education, excels in creative storytelling, and has a knack for crafting impactful messages across channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage PR and external communications efforts in partnership with an agency to build Panorama's brand and reputation in K-12 education and to foster trust with clients and the communities we serve.
  • Manage Panorama’s social media platforms, including content creation, maintaining the social calendar, activating employee engagement, and executive social media support.
  • Develop and manage conference speaking proposals, award submissions, and third-party profiles to elevate Panorama’s thought leadership and brand credibility.    
  • Manage the Panorama email newsletter to distribute content and engage a district leader audience.
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy across various marketing channels to ensure messaging is compelling, consistent, and aligned with the Panorama brand.
  • Support the creation of digital and printed marketing materials as needed, like one-pagers, blogs, emails, presentations, and other collateral.
  • Ensure that communications and PR work contributes to desired marketing and business outcomes, including aligning efforts with marketing campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
    • B2B marketing experience at a technology/software company is a plus 
  • Exceptional copywriting and copyediting skills; able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages. (Please use the cover letter space in the application to share writing samples from your portfolio.)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Stellar storytelling skills; able to uncover and craft narratives that deeply connect with target audiences 
  • Hands-on experience with social media and content creation
  • Outstanding organization and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-changing environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams like Account Management, Sales, Government Affairs, and Research
  • Experience with marketing automation and content management tools such as HubSpot or similar platforms

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in K-12 education
  • An understanding of the key topics and issues influencing K-12 today

The starting salary range for this role is $87,300 - $97,000. Actual offers will depend on experience, skills, and location.

The “Base Salary” range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary range involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of Panorama’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual bonus or commission awards, equity awards, as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
