As our Communications Business Partner, you will drive world-class integrated communications programs for Philips’ Ultrasound Business within Precision Diagnosis (PD). You will work on positioning Philips as a health technology leader, leveraging strategic, high-impact internal and external communications to strengthen reputation, advance business priorities, and foster meaningful employee engagement.
Your role:
Develop and drive strategic communications plans, narratives, and content for Ultrasound and PD, supporting employee engagement, reputation, and our mission to provide better care to more people across B2B, clinician, and internal audiences.
Define and lead thought-leadership programs and communications for key Ultrasound, PD and Philips initiatives and events, partnering closely with senior business stakeholders and the broader Communications and Brand team.
Shape and contribute to enterprise-level communications strategies and key Philips campaigns, ensuring alignment of Ultrasound priorities with broader Precision Diagnosis and Philips narratives, and driving consistency across businesses.
Providing overarching communications counsel and capability building in Ultrasound taking an active role in the Business Unit’s Leadership Team, serving as a trusted communications advisor to the Business Unit Management Team, building communications capability and leading internal and external programs across reputation, brand, culture, and transformation—including issues and crisis communications, M&A integration support, and management of agencies and measurement.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience with Bachelor's OR 6+ years of experience with Master's in areas such as Internal and External Communications, Content Creation, Brand Management, Digital Marketing preferably in Healthcare or Technology domain or equivalent. Additionally, will have direct experience in strategic B2B communication within a multi-national/matrixed environment – required.
Your skills include the ability to shape and guide a communications strategy in a fast-paced, complex environment; strong senior stakeholder management skills as a confident advisor to leadership and trusted strategic partner; high energy and creativity with a demonstrated ability to build key relationships that positively influence stakeholders and drive effective collaboration; and strong project and agency management skills, with a track record of leading strategic, complex programs and planning processes to ensure timely, effective execution of communications strategies.
You have a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Brand Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You're an excellent communicator (verbal and written) with experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives proven ability to write and steer work for impactful speeches, presentations, blogs, opinion pieces; etc, leveraging a strong understanding of/ affinity with healthcare innovation topics. Additionally, you have the drive to remain current on rapidly evolving technology and trends, including adoption of AI in daily work.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $184,000 to $292,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
