Our Customer Success and Subscription Management Team is here to help our customers unlock more value and maximize their results with our software solutions - our customers’ successes are our successes. The Go To Market Programs Team leads our CS and Subscription go-to-market initiatives including opportunity identification, strategy development, tactical design, implementation, and measurement of results.
Your Impact:
The GTM Program Manager position will drive programs from beginning to end to maximize the commercial impact of PTC’s global Customer Success and Renewals organization. Relying on your experience in sales, marketing, or go-to-market planning, your programs will deliver more value to our existing customers and capture more value for PTC. Some recent programs include helping customers move from on-premise to SaaS offerings, growing our base of customers on multi-year contracts, and winning-back recently churned customers.
In a typical week you will be guiding front line sales reps, coordinating cross-functional working sessions, and presenting at executive decision meetings. You will work with stakeholders throughout the company and around the world, so you’re comfortable on diverse teams and taking the occasional early morning or late evening call.
Your Team
The GTM Programs team is a high performing team of do-ers that deeply understand and appreciate the needs of our customers and our internal stakeholders. We have a healthy mix of experience, wisdom, energy, and ambition. We are not meeting facilitators and action item trackers. We are problem solvers that know how to roll up our sleeves and address the practicalities of the front line as well as how to deliver a polished concise presentation to the executive team.
Your Responsibilities:
As a GTM Program Manager you will lead programs through two phases:
1. Bring an idea/offer to market – responsible for keeping a project moving forward on schedule
Understand the proposed idea and how it can deliver big impact
Analyze customer data to estimate the addressable market, and prioritize customers based on likelihood of success and interest in the idea/offer
Design the details of the offer and build cross-functional alignment with Product, CS, Subscription Management, Sales, FP&A, and others
Create content for sales enablement, customer marketing, and selling collateral
2. Manage the offer – responsible for tracking results vs targets and driving continuous improvement
Enable account teams and ensure the offer is positioned as intended
- Support account teams to quickly address unforeseen details and edge cases
- Facilitate management forecasting and results reviews to understand performance
- Capture lessons-learned to improve, scale up, and accelerate the offer
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years of software / SaaS industry experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated experience in go-to-market or product management roles
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence others at all levels, including peers through senior management
- Must be capable in Excel (pivot tables and vlookups) and PowerPoint
PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the annual salary range for this position to be between 140,000-145,000. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC’s benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.
