OVERVIEW 

Department: Commercial Operations    
FLSA Status: Exempt    
Job Location: Austin, TX or Tampa, FL
Reports to: Senior Director of Business Operations   

Element Critical is seeking to add a Commercial Operations Manager located in Austin, TX or Tampa, FL who aligns with our company values of accountability, integrity, grit, and problem-solving.   

This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of Sales and Service Orders, overseeing customer onboarding, and developing dashboards for performance tracking and reporting. The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to compliance efforts, and manage incident documentation.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:    

  • Validate Sales Orders are created using the appropriate product codes and approved pricing.   
  • Ensure Service Order accuracy, site dispatch, acknowledgment and commit date.   
  • Track Sales and Service Order workflows to improve efficiency and time to completion.   
  • Verify new customer onboarding, ensuring account and contact record accuracy.  
  • Develop Sales Order and Service Order dashboards to report key analysis and improve the Element Critical customer lifecycle.  
  • Issue the sales production dashboard monthly to report booking metrics by data center including new adds, renewals, and churn.   
  • Manage and optimize Quote-to-Cash (QTC) workflows by maintaining accurate policies and procedures, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on business initiatives and perform QA for new feature deployments.  
  • Serve as an ISMS Committee Member for Compliance Certification.  
  • Manage repository for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Incident Reports.   
  • Represent Commercial Operations in interdepartmental process and procedure development.  
  • Gather market intel on existing opportunities and target markets. 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Information Technology.   
  • Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, Visio, SharePoint, and MS Office suite applications.   
  • 3+ years of Commercial Operations and/or Sales Operations experience in data centers or technology.  
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Focus on teamwork, ability to apply leadership qualities, and excellent communication.  
  • Demonstrable experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
