Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Longmeadow, MA! 

 

The Commercial Lines Account Manager primary responsibility includes customer service duties for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production of the business. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and resolving underwriting or policy issues. 

  • Manage and retain an existing book of business while pursuing opportunities for new business. 

  • Ensure compliance with audit and performance standards set by leadership. 

  • Handle all client communications, including follow-ups, phone calls, emails, and mail processing. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the agency management system, including all required documentation. 

  • Prepare timely billings, invoices, customer renewals, proposals, and presentations. 

  • Support the end-to-end client service process, including marketing and document management. 

  • Manage the ICR process in coordination with Producers. 

  • Regularly review reports such as Backwards Expiration and daily downloads to stay informed and proactive. 

  • Adhere to agency policies and procedures while engaging in continuous professional development. 

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

 

  • MA Property & Casualty Producer License. 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • High School diploma 

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred and/or extensive insurance experience (preferred) 

  •  2+ years functioning in the Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level (preferred) 

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
