The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Southborough, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with policy processing, endorsements, certificates, and other service-related activities as appropriate

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support projects and workflow execution

  • Act as liaison between customer and carrier working closely with both to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship

  • Handle renewal/expiration list for assigned book of business, reviewing loss information, obtaining updated information, renewal applications, and negotiating renewal pricing when necessary

  • Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings

Qualifications:

  • High Schol degree required

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate via phone or email

  • Superior listening skills and ability to probe customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniques

  • Self-directed with good decision making and time management skills

  • Proficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance software including AMS360

Compensation:

  • $65,000.00/yr
