As a key member of the regional leadership team, the Commercial Leader will collaborate across functions to ensure commercial excellence and deliver impactful solutions aligned with GE Vernova’s business goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales/commercial agreements. Formulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development.
  • Supports Account Managers in deal strategy and contract negotiations. 
  • As necessary, directly supports complex transactional opportunities and regional growth campaigns/strategies, including internal communication while supporting or even leading early positioning with our customers. 
  • As part of the regional leadership team, provide inputs into the regional blueprint and SI process. 
  • Developing commercial expertise across one or more countries, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
  • Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories. 
  • Supports regional programs around commercial intensity and simplification, as required. 
  • Shares global best practices for contract structure/T&Cs/unique solutions – in coordination with Global Deal Hub team. 
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. 
  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
  • Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. 

Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial aspects of projects, contracts and / or contract terms risk mitigation.
Other Eligibility
  • Open and available to travel for up to 35% of the time
  • Offered Hybrid preferably

  • Proven ability to build influential customer relationships and develop strategic sales plans, presentations, and proposals.
  • Deep customer mindset with extensive experience in negotiation processes and understanding of financial drivers for both GE Vernova and clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all business levels, including senior leadership, with strong written and verbal proficiency.
  • Expert knowledge of GE Vernova’s power generation portfolio and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional teams within matrix organizations and influencing internal and external executive audiences.
  • Strong grasp of market economics, competitive dynamics, technology trends, and project execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex programs and projects with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred), enhancing communication in diverse markets.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is Total Base Pay $151,400.00 - $252,200.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive performance bonus of 35% (sip). This position will stay open on the career website until at least October 15th. 2025. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas of the USA.
