Job Summary:
The Commercial Insurance Risk Analyst I is responsible for supporting the administration of the company-wide insurance (P&C and Professional lines), reinsurance, and captive insurance programs.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with various departments to collect, organize, and analyze the organization’s exposure and claims data.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of the annual Insurance Renewal Applications.
- Obtain and organize documentation for all insurance policy renewals and modifications.
- Communicate with broker regarding insurance coverage additions, changes, and modifications throughout the year.
- Maintain, update, and distribute Insurance policy information throughout the organization as necessary.
- Work with third-party broker of record to manage certificate of insurance requests.
- Assist with implementation of all claims and coverage reporting requirements.
- Assist the Risk Director and Managers as needed with the integration of newly awarded and/or acquired insurance plans and entities.
- Support overall Risk team with tracking and analysis of reinsurance claim reimbursement activity
- Help to create and maintain short and long-term reinsurance claim forecasts
- Assist with internal and external audit requests related to insurance programs and captive insurance entity
- Perform other Risk team functions as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of risk management, claims, finance, data analysis, or related experience is required
- P&C and Professional lines insurance experience preferred

- Microsoft Office Proficient
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including judgment/decision making, and the ability to work effectively with others at all levels
- Ability to process large volumes of data in great detail
- Demonstrates analytical/problem solving skills to perform a variety of complicated tasks
- Possess critical thinking/listening skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as external stakeholders

Compensation Range:
$53,400.00 - $85,600.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
