Job Description

The Commercial Finance Analyst partners with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to drive profitable growth through strong financial analysis, trade investment governance, and business performance management. The role provides actionable insights across customer, channel, and investment performance while supporting decision-making for General Trade, Modern Trade, Out of Home, and E-commerce businesses. 

Role & Responsibilities: -

  • Manage and monitor trade spend investments, ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company policies and controls.
  • Analyze customer and channel performance across Retail, General Trade, Modern Trade, Out-of-Home (OOH), and E-commerce to identify growth opportunities and profitability improvements.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, ROI analyses, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) assessments to support commercial decision-making.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and commercial investments through scenario planning and post-investment reviews.
  • Support OOH and B2B business performance by analyzing customer profitability, tenders, contracts, rebates, and investment opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:-

University degree. Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience

Must have:

3–5 years in commercial finance or FP&A (FMCG preferred)

Experience partnering with commercial or sales teams is an advantage.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

Understanding of trade spend management, profitability analysis, and commercial investments.

Business partnering mindset with strong communication skills. Experience in business cases financials

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and financial reporting systems preferred

Nice to have:

- FMCG experience.
