Join us as our new Commercial Development Manager
We are looking for a Commercial Development Manager to take on a maternity cover role.
Welcome to the HMO Commercial Development and Marketing Team
This business unit is focused on HMOs and is part of the Novonesis Human Health Biosolutions division.
You will join a dedicated team, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment. You will be collaborating closely with passionate colleagues worldwide while growing your professional expertise and enhancing your skills in marketing and communication.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
Empowering the sales team with timely, accurate, and actionable information and marketing materials to drive customer success.
Enhancing our internal market insights through managing the Power BI dashboard that influence strategic decisions.
Leading customer customization projects commercially, that strengthen partnerships and drive long-term growth.
Acting as the commercial lead for new product developments (NPDs), connecting customer needs with innovation and driving the business cases
Assessing new market opportunities through market sizing and insights analysis, across categories and geographies
You will use your experience to translate insights, customer needs and trends into product concepts that you can test with customers.
In this role, you’ll be part of shaping how our commercial organization makes decisions. Your work will connect insights to action — transforming data into strategy, projects into impact, and ideas into growth. By driving clarity, efficiency, and collaboration, you’ll help the business move faster, smarter, and closer to our customers.
To succeed you must hold:
Excellent project management skills, and a strategic, visionary and analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving
A team player with a desire and curiosity for a fast-paced learning curve, who is self-driven and thrives working independently in new areas while connecting and leveraging regional and cross functional teams
Excellent people and communication skills and the ability to engage with internal and external senior level stakeholders.
A strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and commercial initiatives.
Proficiency with data tools (especially Power BI) and a keen eye for actionable insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English language, both written and spoken.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Location: Our commercial team is based in various countries. This role is based in Denmark (Hoersholm), while location in Germany (Rheinbreitbach) is likewise possible.
