AIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure. This is a Hybrid role located in Boston, MA
Key ResponsibilitiesDrives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operations
Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Creates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMs
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications
Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes
Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues
Engineer and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure to meet performance and availability objectives.
Create monitoring/alerting and operational runbooks to improve system health and response time.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
15+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.
Active Secret clearance (or higher).
Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment on-site in Boston, MA.
Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.
