Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical informatics, data science, and product development to design integrated, scalable data products within the Health Catalyst eco-system.
Partner to ensure focus on the most critical clinical or operational challenges before considering technology.
Use strong mediation and negotiation skills to resolve conflicting priorities, ensuring solutions remain aligned with both client requirements and organizational objectives.
Champion client technology needs through regular alignment sessions between Architecture, Product, and Services.
Ensure client needs are represented via consistent technical vision and shared roadmap priorities.
Relay client and project insights to the Product and Architecture teams, contributing to the evolution of Health Catalyst’s Ignite offerings, architectural standards, and best practices.
Aid in defining performance, cost-efficiency, and governance best practices within the Health Catalyst cloud eco-system.
Consult and define ETL processes and data pipeline best practices and tools within the Health Catalyst cloud eco-system.
Assist in defining and delivering internal and external training curriculum and deliver hands-on advanced training to internal Catalyst teams.
Provide technical guidance through all phases of solution development, from design to implementation and support.
Stay current with industry and healthcare technology trends and regulations to help guide strategic decision-making.
What you bring to this role:

Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EMR Datasets, etc.)
Experience integrating Databricks with other Azure services and enterprise healthcare systems or similar experience
Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience designing scalable ETL/ELT processes within a Databricks environment.
Effective communicator who can bridge technical and clinical teams with clear, actionable insights.
Knowledge of healthcare data compliance, security practices, and governance frameworks.
Proven mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills in a collaborative team environment.
