Primary Responsibilities Could Include:

As a Cloud Software Developer you will have the opportunity to develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. You will apply appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle. Duties include software requirements analysis, development of software and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Participate in program Agile initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of infrastructure development, automation and maintenance through iteration/functionality implementation within a cloud environment.
  • Responsible for solutioning and implementing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems and providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 support to all Cloud One platforms in a developer capacity.
  • Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to access and authentication that are resolved through backend and/or frontend development solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Cloud Engineers, DevSecOps, Software Test) to implement automation, workflows, infrastructure, and tools to support CloudOne environments
  • Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of code are maintained and continuously improved
  • Develop and document implementations using task management system (JIRA/Confluence) and support performance testing/evaluation activities.
  • Install product/modules for tools
  • Modify and integrate commercial software into cloud environment
  • Design/configure/develop/integrate product/modules to meet business needs
  • Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
  • Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
  • Assist with creation and cataloging of business process flows
  • Document and track vendor software roadmaps for software and patch version updates, and unit test their software and perform code reviews
  • Interface with customer representatives to collaborate on future implementations and improvements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to determine requirements and evaluate alternatives for implementation to meet overall mission goals
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 8+ years or more of experience; Masters and 6+ years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
  • US citizenship required
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
  • Proficiency in major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle) 
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Angular, and leveraging the API layer
  • Understanding of cloud services architecture, networking, storage, and compute resources  
  • Experience with cloud-native development approaches and distributed systems testing 
  • Ability to write, review, and test infrastructure code  
  • Understanding of version control for infrastructure and GitOps practices 
  • Experience with disaster recovery and backup, multi-region and cross-availability zones, and compliance/security in cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, or Ansible
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization validation
  • Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
