The Impact of a Cloud Security Engineering at Coupa:
Coupa's Security Engineers contribute to the Security team, safeguarding the company's product and customer data. The Security Engineer is responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting security tools, developing automations, and operationalizing security measures.
What You'll Do:
- As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain security tools and functionality supporting the team output. Collaborate with other teams to operalize the security best practices and controls.
- Maintain Cloud Security solutions, measure their effectiveness and continuously improve based on strategic priorities
- Implement and enhance security automation to enhance Cloud Security
- Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to proactively secure Coupa’s environments
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud and network security.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Powershell or Ruby.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and container security.
- Hands-on experience automating security workflows using tools like Jenkins or Workato.
- Hands on experience in deploying security solutions on linux and windows systems.
- Critical thinking skills with advanced ability to solve complex problems.
