About the Role

The Cloud Project Manager / Scrum Master will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cloud modernization and automation projects across multi-cloud environments.
This role ensures alignment between technical goals, business objectives, and Agile delivery practices. The candidate will apply Scrum methodology to coordinate development and operations teams, manage risks, and maintain clear stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings strong Agile leadership, deep understanding of cloud architecture, and experience managing cross-functional technical teams delivering scalable and secure solutions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end cloud project delivery — from initiation and planning through deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Apply Scrum and Agile practices to coordinate team activities, facilitate ceremonies, and remove impediments.
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
  • Align project goals with business objectives and technical roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
  • Oversee the creation of sprint backlogs, track progress through Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent), and report key metrics.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between architecture, DevOps, network, and security teams.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and leadership to provide project updates, risk assessments, and performance insights.
  • Promote continuous improvement, Agile adoption, and accountability across the delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing cloud or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and facilitate communication across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, or GCP Cloud Architect.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, AIOps, or network automation tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and Agile delivery tooling.
  • Prior experience supporting federal or regulated environments with FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST compliance frameworks.
