Two Chairs is building a new kind of mental health system based on the idea that the status quo isn’t good enough. Industry-best clinician experiences, better client outcomes, groundbreaking innovation, and access to the highest quality care are how we’ll raise the bar for the entire industry.

One of our company values is "Embrace Differences," and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are the principles guiding how we build our business and teams. We encourage interested candidates from all backgrounds to apply even if they don't think they meet some expectations of the role.

About the role

This is a full-time, temporary, six-month position with the possibility to transition to a standard role.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who is passionate about building mission-driven and high-performing clinical teams.

As part of our Operations Team, you’ll partner directly with clinical care leadership to recruit licensed mental health therapists who share our vision of creating a world where everyone has access to exceptional mental health care. You’ll own the end-to-end recruiting process including sourcing candidates, guiding them through an outstanding candidate experience, and closing. You’ll play a key role in helping scale Two Chairs during an exciting phase of growth.

  • Be the voice of Two Chairs: Share our unique mission, culture, and employee value proposition with prospective candidates.
  • Partner with leaders: Collaborate with hiring managers, provide guidance on interview best practices, and support smart, equitable hiring decisions.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience: Ensure every touchpoint reflects our values and strengthens our employment brand.
  • Drive strategy: Source creatively, re-engage past candidates, and refine processes to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Impact and Success Indicators

Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:

  • Clearly communicate the Two Chairs organizational culture and EVP
  • Build strong relationships with the clinical care team and understand their hiring needs
  • Independently navigate and utilize our recruiting platforms
  • Hire clinicians aligned with our mission and business model

Where you’ll make an impact in the first year

  • Consistently deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Help drive steady growth in clinician hiring and candidate conversion rates.
  • Share insights and feedback to strengthen our recruiting strategies.
  • Identify and own one to two special projects where your unique strengths can drive broader team success.
  • Yield MoM growth in candidate conversion rate from phone screen to start

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • Have 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 2 years recruiting for independently licensed behavioral health clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD, or PsyD)
  • Possess high-volume recruiting experience in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Comfortable with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Greenhouse
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and calendar management skills
  • Leverage your business acumen and ability to analyze and interpret to inform your decisions

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this full-time, exempt role is $111,000 - $130,800. The final offer is dependent on the qualifications and experience of the candidate hired. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $111,000 - $120,000.

Additional perks and benefits:

  • Paid time off, including nine paid holidays and an additional Winter Office Closure from Christmas Day (Observed) through New Year's Day
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) Retirement savings options
  • Annual $1,000 Productivity & Wellness Stipend to support your personal and professional goals
  • Annual $500 subsidized company contribution to your healthcare FSA or HSA

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
