AssistIQ uses AI and computer vision to give hospitals real-time visibility into supply and implant usage in surgical and procedural care. Our platform seamlessly captures what's actually used at the point of care so that clinical teams spend less time documenting, and health systems finally get accurate, timely data on what's being used and what it costs. We work with leading health systems across the US and are growing quickly.
About the roleWe're looking for a Clinical Sales Lead who knows the OR and procedural environments inside and out, and can bring that credibility into the sales process.
You'll partner with Account Executives as the clinical and workflow subject matter expert — the person in the room who has actually stood at the back table, understands what a circulator is juggling during a case, and can explain exactly how AssistIQ fits into the way a team already works. You'll lead demos, run current-state workflow discussions, answer the hard clinical questions, and translate what you hear in the field back to our product and implementation teams.
This is a high-visibility role on a small commercial team. You'll have real influence over how we sell, what we build, and how we bring new customers live.
Responsibilities- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle as the clinical subject matter expert — discovery, evaluations, executive presentations, and everything in between.
- Lead product demos for clinical, supply chain, and revenue cycle stakeholders, tailoring the story to each audience.
- Answer clinical and workflow questions from nursing, perioperative, and procedural teams.
- Consult on current-state workflows and map how AssistIQ integrates into OR and procedural area operations
- Travel to customer sites to run demos and on-site workflow assessments.
- Bring voice-of-the-customer feedback to product and implementation teams.
- Build reusable demo scripts, clinical talk tracks, and objection-handling material the sales team can lean on.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with the OR and procedural areas, including circulating workflows, supply and implant documentation, and perioperative operations.
- Experience in a customer-facing or cross-functional role where you had to explain clinical workflow to non-clinical audiences.
- Comfortable presenting and demoing to audiences ranging from frontline nurses to hospital executives.
- Strong consultative instincts — able to translate workflows into clear product value.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for demos and workflow assessments (~25–50%).
- Clinical background is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience at a health tech, medical device, or healthcare SaaS company.
- Familiarity with perioperative EHR documentation (Epic OpTime, Cerner SurgiNet) or hospital supply chain systems.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with health systems.
- Solve a problem clinical teams complain about every single day, with technology that removes work instead of adding it.
- Small team, direct access to leadership, and real ownership over your function.
- High growth organization with live, named health system customers.

- Comprehensive health insurance
- Flexible work hours
