We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.
We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.
About the Role
We’re shaping the future of mental health care with AI-enabled experiences that enhance, not replace, the human connection at the core of therapy. Our north star is clinically-grounded and responsible AI designed to bring greater transparency, personalization, and continuous support across the therapy journey. Our work transforms therapy into an experience that’s more connected and accessible. As we expand our portfolio of AI experiences, we’re scaling our team to drive innovation and set a new standard for mental health care.
We’re hiring our first Clinical Data Operations Manager, a trailblazing role at the intersection of healthcare and AI. This is your chance to build, scale, and shape a data annotation program from the ground up, laying the foundation for how we deliver care for years to come.
Clinical data annotation is the fuel that powers our AI models, and in this role, you’ll design the systems, teams, and processes that make it possible. You’ll work with and lead both internal and external partners to create scalable, high-quality annotation pipelines that directly impact how thousands of patients experience care.
This is an opportunity to define a new function and ensure every piece of data serves the purpose of delivering more human centered care for our patients.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of related professional experience, leading data annotation or labeling operations in a fast-paced environment.
Evidence of having built top-tier data annotation processes from scratch in a scaling environment, with experience delivering high-quality data that integrates into engineering, data science, and product teams
2+ years of experience hiring, leading, and managing internal or external data annotation teams
Experience defining data annotation processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), audit mechanisms, and workflows that enable distributed teams to work at scale
Proven success in building and launching data annotation processes from scratch. Knowledge of quality scoring frameworks, inter-rater reliability, and QA loop design
Preferred Qualifications
While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.
Psychology training (e.g., Masters or PhD training) demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of psychological concepts
Familiarity with clinical data, especially EHR and text-based datasets. Multi-modal (e.g., audio, video, or images) experience a plus.
Familiarity with machine learning workflows, including how annotated data is used in model training.
Experience managing highly skilled clinical or PhD-level annotators
Proficiency with common analytics tools and the ability to self-serve analytics needs (e.g., Hex and SQL)
