Job Description
Join our Global Tax Operation team in this business-critical role supporting the filing of tax reclaims across different markets for various lines of JP Morgan businesses.
As a Client Tax Analyst - Markets Business in the Global Tax Operation team, you will be responsible for the core processes of relief at source documentation and preparation and submission of retrospective tax reclaims to the Tax Authorities within EMEA. You will work closely with the different desks, middle office, settlements, Finance and Corporate Tax teams located across multiple locations.
Job responsibilities
  • Reconciling Income and tax to request agent vouchers and other ad hoc documents
  • Ascertaining all requests are appropriately captured and required documents are delivered on time
  • Ensuring all tax relief and reclaim processes are performed in accordance with regulatory requirements with a focus on accuracy and timely execution of regulatory obligations
  • Understanding market changes and their impact on internal processes
  • Maintaining internal records and procedures to ensure all market and procedural changes are captured accurately
  • Identifying risks and handling resolutions
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project and process documentation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Basic knowledge of dividend income and related tax
  • Strong team player and showcase multitasking and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy with strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel skills - e.g. pivot tables, analytics tools, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's/honours degree or equivalent desirable
  • Technical knowledge of international tax rules and regulations
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, PEGA, and other low code tools
