Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, bilingual professional to join a fast-paced logistics team as an Account Manager / Client Success Manager. This is a unique, high-growth opportunity designed for individuals who want to move beyond basic tracking and tracing into a full-cycle commercial role. You will start by mastering the operational foundations of freight brokerage and rapidly transition into managing key accounts, quoting freight, and negotiating with carriers. If you are a natural problem-solver who thrives on ownership and clear communication, this role offers a direct path to professional advancement and significant commission-based earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Execution (Phase 1): Vet carriers, track and trace active shipments, maintain shipment visibility, and manage proactive communication with drivers regarding pickup and delivery status.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify potential service failures before they impact the client, managing shipment exceptions like late pickups or carrier fall-offs.
  • Commercial Development (Phase 2): Learn to research market rates using industry tools, source qualified carriers, and negotiate rates to balance service quality with profitability.
  • Account Management (Phase 3): Take full ownership of assigned customer accounts, managing the entire lifecycle from initial quote request to successful delivery and retention.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term trust with existing clients by providing rapid responses, accurate pricing, and consistent service reliability.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise records within the Transportation Management System (TMS) and provide professional shipment updates via email and phone.

Requirements
  • Fluent professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Strong confidence in telephone communication and negotiation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority shipments simultaneously.
  • A proactive, "ownership" mindset—noticing what needs to be done and acting without being told.
  • Ability to work a Thursday–Monday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) during the development phase.
  • High level of personal accountability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves
  • 1–2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, or carrier sales.
  • Experience with industry tools such as DAT, Truckstop, or Tai Software.
  • Previous experience sourcing and negotiating with U.S. motor carriers.
  • Familiarity with specialized freight, including Produce, Reefer, Flatbed, or Oversize loads.
