The Client Engagement Account Manager will build relationships with clients, understand their marketing needs, and act as an advisor to enhance their growth strategy.
The Client Engagement Account Manager will be an energetic and strategic person who can quickly develop an understanding of our clients’ business. Taking a “knowledge expert” approach to building credibility, relationships, and long term strategic impact with Right Side Up’s active client base.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an in house growth capacity or digital marketing agency and be looking to transition to a more client facing, account management position.
This will not be a tactical role- you will be in an advisory position working directly with our clients helping to assess their various marketing needs and further establishing those relationships.
Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ marketing challenges and goals - identifying opportunities within their marketing/growth strategy to add incremental value either through ad hoc advising and/or through incremental resourcing.
- Act as an escalation point for clients and consultants during ongoing marketing-focused engagements to ensure.
- Partner closely with colleagues to identify consulting needs for active client base and partner on recommendations.
- Proactively communicate with client points of contact at all organizational levels including marketing managers all the way up to CMO/Heads of Marketing
- Build strong client relationships, oversee active engagements and ensure successful outcomes for both clients and consultants.
- Support investor operating team in project managing engagement and relationship success and progress check-ins.
Ideal Experience
- 3-5 years in house marketing or agency experience in digital and/or offline media.
- Consulting or account management experience preferred but not required.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to juggle many balls at once without compromising quality.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
