Position Summary

Focus Partners Wealth is seeking a Client Development Specialist to join our team! Step into a high-energy, collaborative sales environment where driven professionals are passionate about helping clients achieve stronger financial futures. You will engage with high-net-worth individuals who have already expressed interest in Focus Partners Wealth, using thoughtful conversations to understand their goals, introduce tailored solutions, and connect them with our wealth advisor team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in client engagement and onboarding, partnering within the Client Development team to manage digitally sourced opportunities and deliver a seamless, high-quality experience at every stage of the prospect journey.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage high-net-worth investors and communicate Focus Partners’ value to schedule meetings with advisory teams
  • Manage inbound, marketing-generated pre-qualified leads with urgency and speed-to-engage
  • Own and enhance outreach strategies to improve conversion and client experience
  • Lead the client onboarding process, coordinating data collection and cross-team workflows
  • Track pipeline activity, onboarding progress, and communications using CRM and internal tools
  • Partner with wealth advisors and client service teams to ensure smooth client transitions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Contribute to a collaborative, performance-driven team environment and support team development when needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in financial services or a client-facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong track record of achieving results and driving outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build trust across diverse audiences
  • Persuasive and confident in influencing decisions
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows
  • Proactive, resilient, and committed to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce (or similar platforms); experience configuring workflows is a bonus
  • Adaptable team player, comfortable in fast paced, evolving environments with a strategic mindset and commitment to excellence

The Client Development Specialist is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $75,000 - $85,000/year.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
