The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Claims Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Mahwah, NJ. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position. Responsibilities: Be the primary contact for the client when claims need to be reported Explain the claims process and guide clients upon receipt of litigation and demand letters. Advise and consult on reporting requirements of professional and management liability claims. Help on-board new clients, delivering a claims welcome kit and explaining claims reporting process and procedures, provide boilerplate incident reporting forms as needed. Establish relationships with claims adjusters and communicate agency expectations for 1st party claims. Be proficient in the agency management system to manage claims data and generate claims reports, as necessary. Qualifications: Must be able multi-task while maintaining accuracy. Must be detailed oriented. Accuracy in this position is critical. Must have strong time management skills. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
