Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategy and identify opportunities to drive business growth in the gas power market, own sales, margin and orders KPI
  • According to sales strategy build up operation frame work and rhythms also keep optimizing
  • Lead and run sales daily operation including cross function team members
  • Own the Sales, Margin and Orders Operating Plan in China
  • Need build up creative solution to solve business difficulties in short term and long term
  • Drive and Influence partners team members to follow our defined strategy
  • Consolidate resources from teams of HQ, region and partners to dig out selling points, also influence customer to accept our value strategy and reflect in RFQ
  • Understand China Gas Power market dynamics, dig out customer’s pain points and CTQs, working with cross functional teams to develop specific value solutions for the customers
  • Own customer relationship from plant level to HQ department level, fully understand customer from PDP to projects level
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics to recommend product strategy to leadership team
  • According business requirement, organize and develop frame work and collect solid data and present clear picture/framwork/progress to internal and external key stakeholders
  • Need well understand GEV and other OEMs tech difference even maintenance solution and dig out special value point for customer.
  • Not only own equipment selling also own CSA selling, need fully understand CSA proposal, independent sell CSA capabily
  • Promote new products in China and drive growth for new segments

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electric Engineering or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in industry-related sales, application, engineering, or field service sales
  • Strong Accountability and self-starter, strong capability to deliver what he/she committed
  • Open to learn and open to change, demonstrate the willingness to walk out from its comfortable zone
  • Never settle for the status quo. Be creative on solution for any challenge problems
  • Clear thinker to layout path to win
  • Strong capability to quickly create new clear frame work based on business requirement for operation and problem solution
  • Capability to deal with multi-task and take pressure
  • Be professional to business / partner / cross function team
  • Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude towards any challenge, be hard-working and uncomplaining, strive to work hard and have spirit of dedication to your work
  • Strong sense of responsibility and mission also ownership towards any work and task
  • Be proactive and diligent work attitude, also spirit of dedication / committing wholeheartedly to work
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese

Desired Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of power industry market, products and services
  • Proven commercial and sales experiences in closing complex contractual agreements, preferably in power industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
  • High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (SFDC, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills
