Yondr’s business segments span numerous industries, primarily across education and live events. Yondr supports schools through cell phone-free programs. Our education programs facilitate the successful implementation of phone-free school environments by providing administrators and teachers with education, training, and development resources, along with all necessary equipment. In addition, Yondr supports top artists in music and comedy by creating phone-free shows, allowing performers and audience members to enjoy live performances without the distraction of phones.

Yondr is looking for a Chief of Staff to support the CEO acting as an advisor, strategist, and executor of critical company-wide projects. This role functions as a gatekeeper to the CEO, managing access, aligning priorities, and ensuring the CEO’s time is focused on the highest-impact areas. The role requires excellent project management skills, a keen understanding of business operations, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executive Prioritization: Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Filter and prioritize requests for the CEO’s time and attention, balancing accessibility with strategic focus. Drive accountability for action items arising from executive leadership meetings.

  • Leadership Proxy: Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings when needed, articulating key messages and ensuring follow-up. Serve as a thought partner to the CEO, offering candid insights and feedback when necessary.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with executives & senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies and operational plans.

  • Operational Alignment & Project Management: Ensure alignment across executive team initiatives by leading and coordinating cross-functional projects and tracking progress against strategic goals. Facilitate the smooth flow of information between the CEO’s office and other departments.

  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, professionalism, and judgment. Maintain trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization to ensure open, transparent communication.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop administrative team to support operational excellence. Ensure efficient support cross-functionally while mentoring team members and aligning their efforts with broader business goals.

  • Culture and Communication: Uphold and promote the company's values, ensuring effective internal communication and fostering a positive work culture. Utilize strong emotional intelligence skills to build trust quickly and foster collaboration across teams, even in ambiguous or high-pressure situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a business operations or strategic support role, such as Chief of Staff, strategy consultant, or operational manager

  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and complex projects

  • Exceptional organizational, communication and emotional intelligence skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Proficiency in business tools and software (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, CRM, project management tools).

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training preferred

Compensation Range: $120K - $140K
