About Vulcury

Vulcury is a venture studio and consulting platform focused on building companies and capabilities at the frontier of AI enablement, intelligent automation, and next-generation business infrastructure.

The organization operates both as:

  • A consulting platform delivering growth strategy, AI transformation, and operational execution for external clients

  • A venture studio incubating new companies across technology, investment research, manufacturing infrastructure, and education

Vulcury operates with a globally distributed team, including teams across the Western Hemisphere and Eastern Hemisphere. As the organization grows, ensuring operational alignment across time zones and initiatives has become increasingly important.

The Opportunity

Vulcury is seeking a Chief of Staff, Western Hemisphere to serve as the operational lieutenant to the CEO.

This role sits at the center of the organization’s activities in the Western Hemisphere and is responsible for maintaining operational clarity, execution velocity, and cross-team coordination.

The CEO currently oversees both Western Hemisphere and Eastern Hemisphere teams. The Chief of Staff will ensure that the Western Hemisphere organization runs smoothly while also providing the CEO with real-time insight into operational priorities, bottlenecks, and emerging opportunities.

This is an ideal role for a highly capable early-career operator who wants a front-row seat to building companies and deploying AI-driven solutions across industries.

What You’ll Do
Act as the CEO’s Operational Lieutenant
  • Serve as the primary operational partner to the CEO for Western Hemisphere initiatives.

  • Maintain visibility across active projects, ventures, and consulting engagements.

  • Identify issues early and ensure the CEO has clear situational awareness across teams.

Coordinate Execution Across the Western Hemisphere
  • Help organize and manage the rapidly growing Western Hemisphere team.

  • Ensure clear communication between leadership and operating teams.

  • Track key initiatives and maintain accountability across projects.

Interface with the Eastern Hemisphere Team
  • Maintain alignment between Western Hemisphere priorities and Eastern Hemisphere execution.

  • Help translate strategic direction into actionable initiatives across time zones.

  • Surface insights from both regions to improve decision-making.

Strategic Project Leadership
  • Work directly with the CEO on high-priority initiatives across the venture studio.

  • Support new venture exploration, consulting opportunities, and internal initiatives.

  • Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis on emerging opportunities in areas such as AI enablement, automation, and technology-enabled services.

Build the Operating System of the Company
  • Help design and improve internal workflows, reporting structures, and operating cadence.

  • Implement systems that increase organizational clarity and execution speed.

  • Ensure key information flows efficiently between leadership and teams.

Compensation

Compensation reflects both the strategic importance of the role and the upside potential of the venture studio environment.

Package components may include:

  • Competitive salary

  • Performance bonus

  • Equity participation tied to Vulcury’s long-term success

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

  • Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail

The ideal candidate likely:

  • Is a few years out of undergraduate studies

  • Is considering an MBA in the future but wants operating experience first

  • Enjoys working across a wide range of topics and industries

Interest in a wide range of subjects including technology, markets, entrepreneurship, and organizational design.
