Job Description:

   

HPE Hybrid Cloud is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief of Staff to join our dynamic leadership team. This role will be responsible for defining and executing high-impact business strategies that align with our company’s growth objectives. The Chief of Staff will work closely with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and GTM, as well as external stakeholders such as strategic partners, cloud providers, and clients.

As a critical thought partner to the leadership team, the Chief of Staff will drive operational efficiency, streamline internal processes, and support the development and execution of key business strategies that accelerate growth and drive customer adoption of the HPE Hybrid Cloud portfolio.

This role is ideal for an individual with strong project management skills, an understanding of technical sales processes, and a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.

Track the progress of strategic projects, providing regular updates and recommendations for course corrections when necessary.

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment in messaging, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Be a change agent: this role is critical to breaking down silos and fostering collaboration across Hybrid Cloud. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of key initiatives ensuring that all teams are aligned toward achieving strategic business objectives.

Serve as a liaison between the executive leadership and other teams, ensuring effective communication and the smooth execution of key projects.

Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:

Evaluate and streamline internal processes to improve operational efficiency, ensuring resources are being used effectively to support technical sales and partner expansion goals.

Implement systems to track and measure success, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for technical sales enablement and partner engagement.

Manage key initiatives and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.

 Reporting and Analysis:

Develop and present regular updates to the leadership team regarding the progress of strategic initiatives, partner ecosystem growth, and sales enablement effectiveness.

Analyze performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in roles with demonstrated transformational success in technology partnerships, business operations, or strategy within the technology sector.

Prior experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic operations role preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable plans.

Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across diverse stakeholders.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic) is a plus.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $115,500.00 - $266,000.00
