About NexScale

NexScale™ is an AI Business Partner for wellness and fitness operators. It adds retention intelligence on top of the CRM they already use, without replacing it. NexScale spots members who are slipping away weeks before they cancel, then takes action: it sends a personalized message in the studio’s brand voice with the operator’s approval, handles every follow-up, and reports back.

We are an award-winning, AI-native software company founded in 2024 by serial tech entrepreneur Dr. Soodeh Farokhi. We are headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area and proudly built in Canada. NexScale is live with paying customers, works with leading CRM and platform partners, and is supported by Innovation Factory, SPARK Centre, Movement 51, nVenture, YSpace, Mitacs and others.

Our mission: scaling wellness and fitness businesses today to power human longevity tomorrow

Work directly with our founder

Dr. Soodeh Farokhi is a 3x founder with 17+ years building AI and B2B SaaS products, including as founder and CTO of C2RO and Chief Product Officer at Nakisa. At NexScale, she is building an AI-native company with a seasoned, high-ownership team that sets clear priorities and holds high standards.

How We Run NexScale

We run NexScale on EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System: a practical framework that helps growing companies get clear on their vision, execute with discipline and build a healthy leadership team. EOS separates two roles at the top. The Visionary sets the direction. The Integrator turns that direction into results, using a few simple tools: the Vision/Traction (V/T) Organizer for where we are going, quarterly Rocks for what matters most now, a weekly Scorecard for the numbers that tell us how we are doing, and weekly leadership meetings to identify, discuss and solve issues.

We are on a journey. We began applying EOS at NexScale this year, starting with the tools that matter most at our current stage, and we are building it out as we grow.

We are also AI-native by design. Our mindset is that every function runs as a self-improving loop: AI agents gather the signal and prepare the work, people decide, and every result feeds the next cycle. That applies to how we sell, how we serve customers and partners, how we build product, and how we run the company itself. The person in this seat must be fluent with AI agents and use them every day.

The Opportunity

NexScale™ is scaling. We are expanding across Canada, deepening our CRM and platform partnerships, and preparing for new markets. Our strategy is clear. What matters now is executing the right things, in the right order, at pace.

We are looking for a seasoned executive to become the CEO's right hand: our EOS Integrator, who turns vision into execution across the whole company. The CEO sets the vision and leads our most strategic partner and customer relationships. You turn what the market, our partners and our customers need into one clear set of company priorities, and you make sure those priorities are owned, integrated and delivered.

The role spans both sides of the company. On the outside, you integrate our customers, partners and growth. On the inside, you integrate technology, product and operations. You are the one place where both sides meet, so what the market needs and what the company delivers stay in step.

This seat is for someone who has run a company or a major function before, and wants to apply that experience where it moves the needle most: next to the founder, at the moment a new category is being defined.

What You Will LeadCompany priorities
  • Partner with the CEO to set and hold our quarterly Rocks, informed by what the market, our partners and our customers are telling us
  • Keep our V/TO current with the CEO: what matters most now, what comes next, and what waits
Alignment and decision-making
  • Act as the CEO's thought partner and, when needed, her counterweight
  • Bring clarity to trade-offs, resolve cross-functional tension early, and keep the leadership team aligned on one plan
  • Prepare the CEO for key partner meetings, negotiations and decisions with clear options, trade-offs and a recommendation
Outside the company: customers, partners and growth
  • Lead the operating side of our customer and partner relationships, alongside the CEO, who leads the most strategic ones
  • Make sure commitments to customers and partners are realistic, tracked and kept
  • Turn what customers and partners tell us into clear input for company priorities and the roadmap
Inside the company: technology, product and operations
  • Translate priorities into clear owners, milestones and outcomes across technology, product and customer experience
  • Connect the technology, product and leadership teams so decisions move fast and nothing falls between them
  • Make sure the highest-priority work lands, on time and to the standard our customers expect
Leading our EOS journey
  • Lead the rollout of EOS as the Integrator, alongside the CEO as Visionary, bringing in the right tools at the right time
  • Run the weekly Level 10 leadership meeting and own the company Scorecard, so issues are surfaced and solved, not carried forward
  • Build an operating model that scales with the company, not around any one person
AI-native operations
  • Make self-improving loops the default across every function: agents gather the signal and prepare the work, leaders decide, and every cycle makes the next one sharper
  • Bring AI agents into the EOS rhythm itself, so Scorecards, Rock tracking and meeting preparation run on agent-prepared data
Where You Will Focus First
  • Partner channel. Turn our CRM and platform partnerships into a repeatable, growing revenue channel, with joint plans, clear owners and a partner scorecard reviewed every week
  • Customer outcomes. Make sure every multi-location operator moves from onboarding to proven value to reference customer, with regular business reviews and a clear view of each account's health
  • Product delivery. Hold one roadmap and one source of truth with the CEO and the technology team, so what partners and customers need ships on a predictable cadence and is measured by retention outcomes
  • Market expansion. Bring the same discipline to our expansion across Canada and into the US
What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days:

  • Quarterly Rocks and a weekly Scorecard that the leadership team owns
  • Every key customer and partner has a named owner, a plan and a next step
  • One roadmap, agreed by the CEO and the technology team
  • Weekly Level 10 meetings that run without the CEO driving them

In your first 12 months:

  • Our CRM and platform partners are an active and growing source of revenue
  • Customers see clear value and are willing to be references
  • We ship on a predictable cadence, measured by customer outcomes such as retention
  • Core EOS tools and self-improving AI loops are working across every function
  • The CEO's time is focused on vision, strategic relationships and growth
Who You Are
  • A seasoned executive: a former CEO, COO, CPO, general manager or senior functional leader, with 15+ years in software space
  • A track record of scaling companies or major functions, ideally in founder-led, high-growth environments
  • An integrator at heart: you turn strategy into execution across functions, and you hold priorities with calm authority
  • A trusted partner to founders: direct, candid, and invested in their success
  • Fluent with AI agents. You use them every day, build your own workflows with them, and know how to design self-improving loops that make a team better over time
  • Commercially sharp and product-literate: comfortable with revenue, partnerships and customer success, and able to work credibly with engineers on technical trade-offs
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or the wellness, fitness and health space is a plus.
Why This Seat
  • Real influence. A direct, daily partnership with a three-time founder and former CTO/CPO, and a seat at every key decision
  • Meaningful ownership. An equity stake sized to an executive role, so you share directly in the value you help create
  • A category moment. AI Business Partners for wellness and fitness operators are being defined now, and the mission reaches into preventive health and longevity
  • Flexibility. Fractional to start, fully remote across Canada and the US, with a path to full time as the partnership grows
  • A strong network. An advisory board of exited founders and senior operators
Compensation

This role is compensated through equity, sized to the scope and impact of the seat. We are open to starting in a fractional capacity and moving to full time as the fit is proven. We walk through the full package in our first conversation.

Our Process
  1. Share your LinkedIn profile and your CV with a short note: why this seat, why you and and why now
  2. A conversation with the CEO
  3. A working session together on a real company priority
  4. Conversations with members of our leadership team and advisory board
  5. References

Our process is fully remote, and we move quickly out of respect for your time. NexScale is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

Please note: we only accept applications submitted through this application form, so please do not apply by email or direct message. Because of the volume of interest, we will only follow up with candidates whose experience is a strong fit for this role.
