About the Job The Chief Financial Officer leads ARaymond North America’s core financial operations, including general accounting, tax compliance, treasury management, and legal entity governance. This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective cash and risk management. The CFO will work closely with global finance teams, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to support business continuity, financial transparency, and strategic decision-making.
This role partners closely with Controlling but does not own Controlling outputs, including business or operational controlling, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, or plant performance analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee all general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closings, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and ARaymond Group standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including consolidation and intercompany transactions.
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and finance systems to support scalability, accuracy, and strong ERP/process controls.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Own the internal controls framework and ensure financial governance and fiduciary oversight across the region.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements, and provide audit committee or board-level reporting support as applicable.
Tax Compliance & Strategy
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including income, sales/use, and property taxes.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to manage tax filings, audits, and planning initiatives, and monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany tax strategies in coordination with global tax teams.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity planning across all North American entities.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash positioning, intercompany funding, and foreign exchange exposure, and optimize working capital through effective cash and credit management.
- Maintain banking authority, signatory controls, and delegation of authority, and ensure compliance with internal treasury policies.
- Support debt, credit facilities, and capital structure decisions, and coordinate risk management and insurance programs.
- Establish and enforce governance over employee expense reporting and corporate credit card programs, including policies, approval workflows, spending limits, and compliance monitoring to ensure appropriate usage, accurate reconciliation, and effective controls.
Legal Entity Governance
- Maintain accurate records and governance documentation for all legal entities within the region, ensuring compliance with corporate legal requirements, including board resolutions, annual filings, and statutory obligations.
- Support corporate restructuring, mergers, or entity rationalization projects as needed.
Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Own financial policies and provide financial insights and risk assessments to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Partner with Controlling, Operations, HR, and Legal to ensure financial alignment, providing accurate financial reporting inputs to Controlling without owning Controlling outputs such as business or operational controlling, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, or plant performance analysis.
- Represent the region in global finance forums and contribute to group-wide financial initiatives.
- All other related duties and/or projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in financial controlling or FP&A, including multi-site or regional leadership.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Experience within an automotive, and multinational organization preferred.
- Managing Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and Compliance functions.
- Managing teams across multiple legal entities or geographic locations.
- Managing financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
- Coordinating with external advisors and government authorities regarding Mexican tax and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of Mexico Maquiladora (IMMEX) programs and their financial, tax, customs, and operational implications.

- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
