Launch Your Career as a Founding Chapter President of Young Leaders in Finance (YLF)

Wall Street Prep is seeking ambitious, driven interns to join our Presidential Internship Program — an unparalleled opportunity to gain leadership experience, build your network, and stand out to employers and graduate programs—all while earning a stipend.

As a Chapter President, you’ll be responsible for launching and leading an on-campus Young Leaders in Finance (YLF) Chapter at your university. This is a hands-on role that empowers you to develop entrepreneurial and management skills, grow your professional network, and make a lasting impact on your campus.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Manage: Recruit and oversee a student Executive Board to operate the chapter.

  • Establish Partnerships: Secure a Faculty Advisor and collaborate with university leadership.

  • Build the Foundation: Establish a timeline for registering your chapter as a Registered Student Organization (RSO).

  • Grow Membership: Drive recruitment and engagement through on-campus and digital outreach.

  • Launch & Promote: Create and maintain an official YLF chapter Instagram account with consistent posting.

  • Host Events: Plan and execute major on-campus events, including Welcome Night, a Community Service Event, and Induction.

  • Develop Leadership Skills: Participate in virtual trainings, mentorship meetings, and YLF conferences.

  • Manage Operations: Oversee chapter administration and ensure all program milestones are met.

Key Milestones for Advancement to Chapter President
  1. Establish a timeline for RSO registration.

  2. Secure a faculty advisor (if not already in place).

  3. Recruit an Executive Board member.

  4. Launch and maintain an active Instagram account.

  5. Complete all YLF program milestones within the internship timeline.

Commitment
  • Approximately 5–7 hours per week dedicated to leadership and professional development.

  • Must attend YLF meetings, YLF on-campus sessions, and YLF virtual events.

  • Maximum of two absences permitted; all assignments must be completed.

  • Opportunity to continue as a Founding Chapter President following the internship.

Compensation & Perks

The total stipend for the internship is $1,300, structured as follows:

  • $300 — For meeting attendance and participation requirements (maximum two absences, all assignments completed).

  • $500 — Upon successful RSO registration.

  • $500 — Upon successful completion of all on-campus events (Welcome Night, Community Service Event, Induction).
