Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Channel Sales Associate will work closely with Granite Regional Channel Managers to identify and prospect new agent opportunities for the Regional Channel Management (RCM) team. In this role, the associate will help establish agent relationships, assist with the onboarding process, and support the overall success of new agent partnerships. The position involves extensive communication with telecom services distributors, facilitating the smooth introduction of Granite’s capabilities, and coordinating with various internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact Telecom Services Distributors: Initiate outreach to telecom services distributors to introduce Granite’s offerings and capabilities, setting the stage for potential partnerships.
  • Coordinate with Channel Managers: Collaborate with Granite Channel Managers to schedule follow-up meetings and further establish agent partner relationships with distributors.
  • Facilitate Agent ID Creation: Assist in the creation and management of agent IDs for new representatives.
  • Agent Onboarding Process: Oversee the new agent partner onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition and introduction to Granite's support team and resources.
  • Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Actively prospect for new leads through cold calling and other outreach methods, demonstrating a strong work ethic and persistence.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Maintain clear, open communication with both internal teams and external partners to ensure all aspects of the onboarding process are completed in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic Excel Skills: Proficiency in basic Excel functions (e.g., data entry, sorting, and simple formulas).
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while staying organized and efficient.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in sales or channel management, particularly in the telecom industry, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales automation software.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required.
