As a Channel Director, you should be a disciplined self-starter who thrives on building strong relationships and winning. To be effective, you will need a deep network & understanding of the Managed Services space and the partners who are engaged in selling managed services from the likes of VMware, Veeam, Zerto, Microsoft, and Various SOC/SIEM, EDR/MDR, and other industry-leading technologies. With these attributes, you will be a vital part of driving organizational growth and helping shape the mid-market's future of managed services.
This role will be responsible for driving opportunity generation by developing & managing new & existing partnerships in the East Region to promote the sales of Performive’s complete portfolio of managed services.
The Role:
· Identify a list of in-market targeted partners for recruitment
· Build partner relationships with TSD’s, VAR’s, IT consultants & other 3rd parties to promote the sales of Performive services
· Work with partners to develop “Go to market” strategies
· Drive quota of monthly/quarterly opportunity creation
· Establish “Goals” for each partner relationship
· Deliver weekly partner trainings
· Weekly and monthly funnel management
· Ensure proper registration and qualification of all partner opportunities
· Update and maintain proper reporting metrics
· Perform monthly and quarterly partner review of established goals
· Achieve monthly quota of new partner MRR bookings each month.
· Create and maintain strong relationships with the Performive sales team to effectively manage channel opportunities from start to finish
Knowledge & Experience:
· 5 + of channel sales experience or direct technology sales working with partners.
· Exceptional communication skills are critical, both written and verbal
· Positive and professional attitude, tactful, organized, and a team player
· Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-growth environment
· Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals
· Effective management skills. Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills
· Strong organizational skills are required with documented success in maintaining revenue generating business relationships similar to Performive
· Extensive travel throughout the East region
