Department OverviewSales Operations is a part of the Sales organization and focuses on supporting sales people primarily with all reporting requirements. The team works closely with various departments within Motorola to support sales in achieving their orders and sales goals (Sales, Finance, Project Management, Supply chain, Strategy, etc).
Job Description
Channel Business Analyst supports Motorola Solutions channel sales and operations performing analysis on channel sales and channel programs, including point of sale and inventory data, technology and market mix. This includes providing insight to channel management on business trends, program results and partner performance in Tableau, GoogleSheets and GoogleSlide materials.
Key responsibility will include:
Performing analysis to assess distributor point of sale and inventory reporting and data quality.
Reporting and tracking of partner performance
Provide business analytics on all aspects of channel business including technology, geography and vertical market mix and trends (unit, sales, revenue)
Developing and managing analytical requirements for partner sales and incentive programs
Creation of partner business review presentations
Provide insights on business intelligence to management to make prompt and key decisions.
Provide recommendations of improvement of key business processes and tools and the adoption of AI.
Deliver reliable, accurate and timely information on leading sales indicators (sell-in, sell-thru, inventory and sell-out).
Drive and implement regional/ global projects.
Work with cross functional teams to support the implementation of new processes and programs that include creating the process framework, training/support materials and developing business rules & monitoring their effectiveness.
Basic Requirements
Around 1-3 years of experience preferably in data science, finance or business analysis
Advanced knowledge of Excel with experience in analytics and problem solving
Knowledge in Tableau is an added advantage
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working with changing priorities and working independently
Must be well organised with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to present and articulate process and data analytics
Flexible and adaptable to changing technologies and applications
