Change Order Specialist
Under the direction of management the Change Order (CO) Specialist is responsible for the efficient development, coordination, and execution of budgets, scopes, and associated contracts for change orders tied to existing business. In close collaboration with Project Managers/Leads, Sales, Proposals, Finance, and Legal, the CO Specialist ensures that change orders are prepared with accuracy, financial rigor, and timeliness. This role is accountable for driving the change order process forward, proactively engaging with stakeholders to secure approvals and signatures quickly, and safeguarding Veristat’s financial interests through a strong understanding of rates and margins..

What we look for:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Science, Business, Finance, Business Management Clinical Research) required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads with accuracy and efficiency in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders diplomatically to drive timely outcomes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to evolving project requirements, and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential, with working knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
Preferred:
• Minimum 2 years of proposal, contract, or change order experience in the clinical research industry, preferably within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
• Strong understanding of the functional relationship between CROs and Sponsors.
• Solid knowledge of financial concepts (rates, margins, accruals, and fee structures) with the ability to apply them in contract development.
